Articulate Rise 360 Training Module
Context
This final group project was developed for EME 6677, Advanced Instructional Design and Development. We were tasked with designing a three-week mini-course using a platform of our choice. We selected Articulate Rise 360 for its flexibility and interactive features. Following the SAM model, we worked through iterative cycles of planning, building, feedback, and revision. In addition to the course prototype, we submitted a design document and project plan.
Conditions
I focused on Module 2, while my partner led Module 3, and we collaborated on Module 1 and the overall course layout. Each module aligned with weekly objectives and included resources, interactive activities, and assessments. We used a shared planning tool to manage deadlines, and peer feedback played a crucial role in the development of the final prototype.
Scope
The course includes three fully developed weeks with interactive elements, learning checks, and quizzes. We delivered it to peer feedback group for testing and used their feedback to reflect on strengths and areas to improve. While it wasn’t hosted in an LMS, the module is SCORM-compliant and ready for upload.
Role
I led the development of Module 2—writing content and building interactive slides in Articulate Rise 360. I also contributed to Module 1, the design document, and helped manage our group’s timeline and revisions. This project gave me hands-on experience with iterative design and team collaboration.
Key Competencies Demonstrated
Design Skills
Helped structure the course around weekly objectives and tied those to interactive learning activities and assessments.
Used chunking, pacing, and clear sequencing to make the content manageable and engaging.
Technology & Media Skills
Built modules and incorporated interactive elements like quizzes and drag-and-drop exercises.
Created a SCORM-compliant product that could be hosted in an LMS.
Collaboration & Project Management
Worked closely with teammates, dividing tasks and checking in regularly to stay aligned.
Used shared tools to plan, track progress, and stay on schedule.
Feedback & Iteration
Made key updates to the prototype based on peer feedback and contributed to the group’s final reflection and revision plan.
